WHO IS BIDO?

GREAT QUESTION! You see in July of 2001, the manga magazine Monthly Shonen Gangan began serializing 'Fullmetal Alchemist' by Hiromu Arakawa, a story about a little boy with no arms or something. Then, two years later, that manga reached its 25th chapter, during which the main characters got disowned and then un-disowned, Roy Mustang played chess with an old guy, and the sexiest man ever to grace the printed page sat around on a couch. But in between some of those things... there was Bido.

Bido's introductory scene features him pestering the Elric brothers over knowing their backstory, getting beat up, then revealing himself as a lizard chimera and escaping back to his boss' hideout, where he blushes and giggles over the praise he receives. This is about as much characterization he gets, because his next major scene is when he dies. But it is Enough.

Perhaps you don't understand the appeal of a tiny bald middle-aged lizard man who shows up, gets kicked in the face, is gay, disappears for 44 chapters, shows up again wandering around and crying over his dead friends, and then dies to further the plot. If you want to understand, maybe take a gander at my wares. If you don't, then get out of my house. But if you're one of the other three and a half Bido Enjoyers on this barren earth, then I hope you enjoy all the effort I've put (and will continue to put) into this page. I'm single-handedly making up for years of people ignoring him or acting like he's 10 years old so I have my work cut out for me. Check out the links to the left or up top!
